Our wines don’t need a white tablecloth. They don’t whisper in tasting rooms. They shine in bare feet and laugh lound around campfires. Best cracked open with sandy hands, uncorked on the tailgate, or passed around a table under string lights in the backyard. The kind of wine that doesn’t need a stage—it just needs good company.

We don’t believe wine needs to be dressed up to be taken seriously. Ours stands tall without the pretense–crafted with care, grit, and a whole lot of heart.

Our Story

Since 2013, we have done more than put our spin on an old tradition of wine making. Guided by an international palate, we fuse unique wine varietals from around the world to create the most interesting flavors and textures that embody our adventurous spirit.

Vagos makes everything in small batches from our home barn in Paso Robles, CA. To achieve optimal flavor and wine character, we practice minimal intervention while also having a strong eye on final quality. It takes about 700 days to go from planted vine to bottle, and while it may be a delicate process, every bottle is worth your patience.
